ClearTrip — Customer Harassment & Non Compliance

Dear Sir/Madam, I had booked the following itinerary with Cleartrip. The details are: Trip ID: [Protected]Yesterday, i.e. 10th Sept, I had to amend the trip because of a change of plans. I amended the Trip on website itself and paid Rs. 9699 towards successful amendment charges and received message from Cleartrip as well. Till today i.e. 11th Sept morning I did not receive the revised itinerary, I called up the call centre – I spoke intermittently for almost 3 hours with various agents, reservation desk, alteration/modification team, tech team etc. and was assured that they have received the amendment amount Rs. 9699. I would receive the modified itinerary by today evening. When I checked with the call centre again today evening, after multiple iterations they told that they they wouldn’t be able to honour the amendment and I would have to do the amendment again. This is a clear case of customer harassment, I was penalised for no fault of mine and now I am forced to book afresh by paying the increased fare. I cancelled the Trip and Cleartrip deducted all the applicable cancellation charges, I have not been refunded the amendment charges. I have attached the receipt for your kind perusal. I have attached the SMS acknowledgement from cleartrip of the successful receipt of the amendment charges and also the amended itinerary that I was looking for. I would like to draw your kind attention to the harassment as well as excess money/non refund. Would be glad to get a resolution on the same – I would like to get a written apology and complete refund (including the cancellation charges) from Cleartrip.

Also, we just signed up with a site called Free Speech site that publishes legal threats and we will be sending all the legal threats we receive to. We will add a link to them shortly. The threats are published and indexed by the person making the threats and by the lawyer or other idiot who has never read Section 230 of the CDA and still wants to bother us with frivolous legal claims. In other words, your threats will cause your name to appear in another site, it’s what some call backfire. Don’t be stupid, you won’t scare us.
If you see the flashing text an alert “Ineligible For Arbitration” on any individual pages or post, then you should know that there is a ZERO chance of the posted content ever being removed. This ultimately means that the content will remain on this site indefinitely and there will be no exceptions.
