McDonald's — Inconsistent food and bad service

I am writing to bring your attention to a problem with the quality of food at McDonalds. I am specifically talking about the McDonald’s at 1060 West 13th Street, Merced. As a college student, I constantly feel like I need more time, and more money. With the student loans I had to take out, I already need to start saving up to pay those debts off, money is really tight because of this. I am also working as hard as I can to ensure that I have a good resume to present, so the majority of my time is spent studying and doing extra-curricular work; Time is invaluable to me. So, last weekend I am doing errands in town and I have about 45 minutes until class starts. This doesn’t give me enough time to go home and cook, but at the same time, since I am already out I don’t have time to sit down and eat out. This leaves me either sitting through a 3 hour class hungry, getting there late, or simply just getting some fast food. I end up going to McDonalds to buy some chicken nuggets. Ideally I go to fast food restaurants because I don’t have a lot of time to spare and it is a quick, relatively cheap, and filling meal; this was definitely not the occasion. I pull up to the drive through and I have to wait longer than usual, this did not upset me too much. I finally get to order my 20 piece chicken nuggets and when I opened them I was very unsatisfied. The chicken nuggets were about 2/3 the size of a normal sized chicken nugget. They were small and I felt like I got 2/3 the amount of chicken when I paid a full amount. I went inside to discuss that these nuggets were smaller than normal but the employees at the counter told me that those are the normal size of their chicken nuggets and they don’t have bigger ones. Not only am I dissatisfied with their product, but I am also dissatisfied with their service. They simply told me that those are the nuggets are normal sized, and made me feel as the customer that I was wrong and they are right. They did not stop to talk it out with me, making me, the customer feel as if my concerns were unimportant. Not only did I feel like I got ripped off and not get full from the meal, I got a terrible customer experience. Here is what I would like to see happen: Have employees representing your business be debriefed on how to solve an issue rather than telling them they are wrong and brushing off the situation, and either bring back the chicken nugget original sizes or decrease the prices, or if it was a case of a bad batch of nuggets, please look into quality control for consistency of the nugget sizes. In other words, your threats will cause your name to appear in another site, it’s what some call backfire. Don’t be stupid, you won’t scare us.
