Complaint: I purchased a used BMW engine from B.A.R. and first engine was damaged in freight. Second engine was sent and was promised good tested product. Had certified BMW shop install engine for me and engine light was present with cam timing code present. Cleared code multiple times and test drove with code reappearing. Spoke with Marco and had conference call with Marco and diagnosing technician with conclusion that service adviser would call Marco to discuss cost of repair. Marco spoke with adviser on price agreed and stated that he would call purchasing customer me and discuss this situation. I never received a call from Marco on that Friday week day that he talked with adviser so I called Marco next Monday and to my surprise Marco was on vacation for a week. I spoke with one of his sales reps and he stated that Marco would take care of me after he’s back from vacation. I paid the shop $1300.00 to repair the BMW to get it back on the road. I attempted to contact Marco by phone, fax and letter form with no response. (He ignored we and where out the $1300.00 dollars) if their pre-purchase warranty is no good how good is there product warranty after purchase. Every promise this company makes is a falsehood (Lies). Both engines were late upon promised arrival and everything they promised did not happen!! Marco is the manager and this is the way he does business running away from his problems and ripping off his customers, what kind of example his he to his employees!! Don’t trust this company!!
