Bernie and Phyls Westboro sold us 2 sofa’s all leather which we paid over $3200. and also purchased the extended 5 year warranty for both sofa’s on top of it. After 4 years the leather started cracking and seams separating . We called the warranty services at Bernie and Phyls and they sent someone out about 3 weeks later. When they came out they said the furnature was well taken care of but the office will say this is normal wear and the cracking and rips AR because it is not all leather! It was labeled in the show room as 100% leather made in the USA? When we were sold the extended warranty we were told by the sales man it covered all damages to the leather punctures rips, animal damage, spills, this was a complete lie! When the customer service office called me they said they would order replacement parts for the worn areas but I would have to pay for parts and shipping. Why would I pay for defective leather that lasted 4 years then replace it with more defective products that will only last another 4 Years! I continued to discuss my discount satisfaction with the product to and services with them and they said our furnature is only expected to last an average of 7 years anyway!!!! I asked why they had not told me that when I was shopping for furnature in the first place because I would have gone somewhere else with my business! Bernie and Phyls products are poor quality, sales practices are unethical, and customer service is non existent! Consumers warning, stay away!
