Complaint: The purchase experience was easy to go through and we were treated great. However after owning the vehicle for 12 months, 2 engines blew up under warranty, the 3rd replacement started going 2 months ago. The power steering pump went out and leaked all over the alternator causing it to go out. The warranty department and the car lot in Lincolnton have told me countless times they would replace the vehicle if it became a problem again. It was in the shop 11 times in 12 months. A total of 60 days I couldnt use the vehicle. It wouldnt pass inspection to renew the plate and registration. It got to the point where I have 3 children and this was my only vehicle that I was paying $465 a month for and couldnt drive. Hope who sold me the vehicle told me more than one time if it wasnt under warranty or it happened again they would replace my vehicle. It never happened. The general manager told me they would take care of it. That never happened. I was even paying an additonal $100 a month for parts on the 2nd motor that werent covered under warranty I had to finance. After countless times requesting a replacement after I couldnt drive the vehicle anymore and was still making payments I finally gave up. I let them come and get it and bought something else from a different car lot. It was nothing but trouble and after never getting anything taken care of and my calls not being returned, nobody calling to offer a replacement or to make it right, to do what I was told over and over would be done I now owe $11,000 dollars for a vehicle that wouldnt even run and left me and my family stranded multiple times. I will never buy any other vehicle from EZ Way. I would not trust that car lot or the management that works there. Im sure some of the sales people are honest and helpful but the management or whoever is deciding to lie and screw my family over are horrible to deal with. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income with a wife a 3 daughters. For them to know all the problems with the vehicle and promise me replacement only to leave me broke down on the side of the road and stranded in the middle of winter speaks volumes about the type of people you will deal with if you make the mistake of buying from here. If you have bad credit there are many other places who will treat you right. I would stay away from this place!!!!!
