Experian San Diego California Review

While on Experian’s website I was offered the opportunity to see my FICO score for $4.95 so I took them up on it. The next month they started automatically charging my credit card $14.95 per month for some sort of credit services package that I did not want, need or request. I do not pay that card personally (someone else in the house does) so I did not catch this for a number of months. When I called Experian about it they cancelled the service but would only refund one month of the service. Since I did not request or use the service I asked to speak to a manager, who more or less told me that I was stupid. Apparenly I am not the only stupid one because he admitted that they have poeple calling about this problem all the time. I asked him if there was anyone else I could speak to and he said no. I then contacted my credit card company to file a dispute and they told me that this is a commonly disputed item, usually unseccessfully though. Since I feel ripped off and Experian would not give me anyone else to discuss this with I am reporting it here to warn others to be very cautious about giving Experian your credit card number.
