Firestone Lancaster Pennsylvania

Complaint: My first experience with inspection service at this Firestone location was shocking. They are running a big scam on their service and tried to charge me almost $1000 for basically nothing and did not have authorization to perform any such “repairs””. First they quoted me less than $500 and told me they were going to perform repairs that I requested on my transmission and said the inspection would be completed by the end of the day. When I went to pick up my vehicle

Address: they gave me a bill for double the quote and no repairs at all were done on the transmission. I was told that my car was not up to code and needed to be taken to the dealer for more work. And after that I could return to Firestone and complete inspection once it was ready to pass and receive the stickers on my windshield. The bill had multiple charges for ridiculous items which were not explained properly and most involved computer codes which were impossible to understand. Two parts had been replaced which were not authorized. When I demanded to see the old parts I was told they were in the dumpster and that’s the only way I could get to them. Both the parts were working the day before. In fact

Website: Firestone had accidentally put the passing inspection stickers on my windshield. The shop manager realized this and tried to get me to bring the car back to them under the guise of “”removing the replaced parts for a partial refund”” but I refused. Knowing they intended to remove the illegal stickers. And what about the old parts

Phone: my regular mechanic had started the inspection but could not finish for several days because he fired one of his helpers and had to put the job on hold. He verified the parts were in working order the day before when I took it from his shop to Firestone. Also my regular mechanic agreed that Firestone had completely fabricated most of the charges on the bill. He was in disbelief at the blatant dishonesty. Most incredibly
