After being declined at a gas station, even though I just got paid, I called netspends phoneline and checks the online account/transaction history… networks to see what happened. Someone charged my account a number of times without my permission. the funny part is they charged my card that was previously reported as lost/stolen and shouldn’t have been active in the first place, I lost the card over 1.5 years ago!! In addition, the charges are in. Pending state, so they said I can file a disput until the charges are posted to my account. They said the transactions could be pending for 10 days or more and only after the charges are posted to my account, I could file a disput for them. The transactions listed are generic descriptions and upon calling vendors to try to see if they could help me either without a card number or order number, get ny money back, they didn’t have enough information to go on.. I have cancelled the cards I have with them and don’t understand how they could do this to me? They have litterally made thousands of dollars off of me in fees, I’ve been a customer since 2011. I now have no money and no way to get it back either. I am a victim, both by the lazy f**ks who stole my card number, and by netspend who seems to be encourging and even aiding/abetting theifs. was it netspend or its employees? Or is this some kind of a diverson to take out a free loan from my account, since a large numberof netspend customers are discontuing use of networks products because funds are not safe?
