I was recently in New York as a visitor and was charmed into a store selling beautry products called Tru00e9sor Rare. Apparently a Swiss beauty product with amazing ingredients, which I now know to be utter rubbish. The sales person used a very hard selling technique, constantly telling me how great the savings were in store in comparison to the prices online. This rang alarm bells as the price was already very expensive. He then brought out a damaged package and offered it at an even greater discount if I bought two products together. He held me in the store constantly asking me why I wouldn’t want great skin and kept challenging me as to whyI wouldn’t spend this amount to have younger looking skin. Luckily I got out without making a purchase – however when he released I wasn’t going to make a purchase he got unpleasant and dismissive having kept me there for over 30mins. It was a threatening experience and I felt bullied. I hope this helps other consumers not to fall foul to this scam.
