Gary Collins, an agent for Mutual of Omaha of Nebraska, told me over the phone on Nov. 17 that there would be no funds removed from my bank account until the date wichI chose, I asked are you sure because there will be no funds in my acct. which wouild cause an overdraft, he assured me not one cent would be taken until the date I specified, however they took my first payment on the 18th of Nov. which caused overdraft #1 which then caused an overdraft on my housepayment also, then they took another payment on Dec 6th the date which I had opted for causing another overdraft. When I contacted them I was told “Thats the way it works”” I then asked to speak to Mr. Collins at which time they told me no one worked there by that name I made 3 attempts to just get them to do the right thing
so I called back gave them a different name and suddenly he was there! They still have not responded to my requests to return my money
and by the way the extra payment and overdraft fees took all the money I had to buy my children any christmas gifts! If you buy a policy from this company do not give them your banking info until the exact date you want iot taken out!”
