Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity Bangor Maine Review

As you all know Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a place where you can get used furniture supposedly to benefit a good cause. I can’t prove why I don’t believe this to be the case and won’t go into it thus. Me and my sister bought some furniture 2 weeks ago and a couple of volunteers helping us move it out of the store damaged it badly on the way out; the manager wouldn’t give us a refund as he insisted this is policy. The couple of volunteers seemed pretty doped out as do many of their staff when we come in and look at their furniture. I’ve had three friends go to volunteer for them and one of them was fired for being gay. Obviously you can’t say that directly, but the behavior was pretty obvious from the staff. A couple of them would tell them that he’s not sure of himself and would constantly talk about gay people and who’s gay and who’s suspected of being gay in front of him. There are definitely better and more professional places to furnish your house. Plus a lot of their pricing is off, something that should be worth a hundred could go for $10 and something that should be worth $10 could go for a hundred… Especially the cheesy Target furniture. I’ve seen in there a couple of pieces that were actually being sold for more than their original value.
