I wanted to highlight a business that was rude, less than honest and purposely refuses to honor customer appointments through her selective processes in order to make an appearance as though she is scheduing customers. I wanted massage services and scheduled with Cheryl at Yi Spa in Shorewood, WI. She gave me an appointment day and time for almost a month later. When I called to confirm with Cheryl that I was coming in case she forgot the day of the appointment, she told me I was not scheduled. Cheryl didn’t have a concern with that, she just said oh, I may have written down the wrong name as she called me a different name. I told her I am not person she mentioned, but didn’t give my name yet and just explained she gave me the appointment so long ago and I was just confirming that the appointment was still on and should be there about 4:35. When I got there she apparently called the person she mentioned before hand and decided to keep the appointment with her as she was a non Groupon customer of which Cheryl pointed out to me. Since I was there at 4:33pm, I knocked on her door to let her know I was there because since I had just spoken with her, I didn’t think she had a customer knowing I was coming and assumed she was prepping the massage room for my appointment. She came out rude, told me she called Groupon already and told them to give me my money back even though Cheryl didn’t know my name and also told me that she didn’t have me scheduled with an appointment. If she didn’t know my name or if I wasn’t scheduled for an appointment, how was she able to call Groupon to tell them to give me my money back? Cheryl selectively chose to refuse to service me and that is wrong. She had me believing I had an appointment, I drove all the way there with her knowing she wasn’t going to service me. She gave the appearance that she schedules appointments so that Groupon won’t say she violated the terms of her agreement but clearly she did. She had a person who didn’t buy a Groupon go on the website to report a favorable response when that person clearly didn’t buy a groupon to combat my negative response in an effort to inform Groupon and inform future consumers. I want to highlight this injustice and I want you Groupon to get back to me asap but they have never returned a phone call or dealt with my issue of her false impression of selectively scheduling appointments and keeping appointments and falsely letting me know she refused to service me as I was blindsided when I got to the location. I also want my gas and time reimbursed as Cheryl purposely led me to believe I had an appointment when she really didn’t want to service me at all.
