On Feb. 29,2016 I purchased hearing aids from Zounds Hearing and was informed I coukd return the them within 30 days if I was not satisfied. These hearing aids do not work for me!! I had an appointment with Zounds on 3/21/16 at which time I was going to return thier hearing aids. My problem begins with my wife passing away 3/17/16 which made impossible for me to make the appointment on 3/21/16 since that was the date of my wifes funeral. My daughter made a new appointment for me but it was after the 30 days. I was told by Zounds there was nothing they could do since I missed the 30 day window regardless of the circumstances. I have written the home office several times but am always given a run around. I have written the credit card company to report this fraudulent sale. They contacted Zounds who responded in nothing but un-truths. I am at a loss as to where I can go for help. I told the credit caed company I would give up the $1200,00 I have alreasdy paid toward the $5198.00 Balanc I returned the Hearing aids to Zounds on 8/22/16 and informed them that thier product did not work. They are now telling me the hearing aids are corroded and may have damaged them. Thus making hard to resell, I find that hard to beleive since I only used them for 3 or 4 weeks I beleive I am being taken advantage of because I am a senior and because of the unusual circumstances surriounding my missed appointment. I also beleive they are selling an inferior product!
