I booked a customized bike( Booking Amt. was Rs. 10000) in one of royal Enfield showroom in Prayagraj Uttar Pradesh on 1st of June -2021. The tentative date of delivery was told to be of last of July.
Further this date was extended to last of september-21 but now they are telling that they won’t be able to deliver the bike even in Sep-21 and the production of my bike has not started yet.
This time they are even not telling the tentative date of delivery. In this situation I decided to cancel my booking. Now they are refusing to refund my booking amount of Rs. 10000. I also talked to one of customer care executive of Royal Enfield and he also didn’t give any satisfying answer.
Simply saying that it is company’s policy. And saying that in case of customized bike booking amount is not refundable and at the same time they mailed me that my bike has not been produced yet when bike is not produced yet what is the meaning of customization there.
It is the fault of of Royal Enfield that could not deliver the bike at the committed timeline twice and even today they are not in the the position to reveal the tentative date of delivery. I humbly request the forum to look into the matter and help me out.
